La Haine & Amores Perros were a couple of films that had a similar effect on me (though not as intense)

Same, this one was entirely my fault. I’d secured the piece I was cutting but had left one edge unsupported, so as I cut through it dropped & clamped onto the disc.

Irregular reminder the PPE is important.

This could have been a lot worse, I was wearing appropriate PPE & those chunks were trapped in the piece I was cutting rather than flying off.

Absolutely agree on both counts, another classic case of a sequel only existing to bridge the gap between the first & third movies

One of our cats in particular always likes to help me with any little maintenance projects round the house so I generally put aside a few bits of hardware or some tools specifically for her.

It’s probably been 30 years since I’ve seen/read either, I might have to do the same.

Don’t worry, they absolutely get that, they’ve both got a well developed sense of social justice so we’ve at least got that bit right ;)

Well the upside to that is we always need more of us antifascist skinheads to balance the scales.

One thing I’m trying to instil in my kids is to just have an awareness of your impact on the world & those around you as a base level starting point to guide your behaviour.
