The time frame for the main part of the book series is 2150 and onwards, while the prologues vary from 2075 to 2146. The prologues mirror what’s going to happen in the books with certain Greek myths, one of which is Daedalus and Icarus, which is told by a South African grandmother to Taraji,

Because I’m new, here’s a little bit about my YA Sci-fi novel. I’m planning on it being a 5-book series following a squad of 9 trying to stop a corrupt leader from taking over or destroying an alien civilization because Earth was destroyed by a nuclear war in 2075.

Just finished “act 1” of my YA Sci-fi novel. I’ve been working on it since December-ish of last year off and on, but I’ve made decent progress over the past two months. I’m really excited about the story, but it is an arduous task to write it.
