Is it absolutely necessary to conduct a poll on whatever frothy nonsense these creeps utter to attract attention?

BBC News bulletins leading on the story of an Algerian man being mistakenly released by the prison service.

Funnily enough I don't remember these cases ever leading the bulletins when an average of ten prisoners were mistakenly released a month in the final year of the last Government

Reform’s new ploy, (aka the Saxon angle).

Definitely inheritors of Mill’s epithet β€˜The Stupid Party’.

Samir Zitouni and Stephen Crean are heroes who saved lives. They showed the best of Britain: putting themselves in harm's way to protect others.

They both deserve the George Cross in recognition of their incredible bravery.

The Guardian’s Politics Live page has lovingly curated the entire thing too. Depressing.

That’s a pretty one-sided take tbh, worthy of la Kuenssberg.

It’s unhinged. And parts of County Durham have either lost the plot, or else fully absorbed the BBC’s political messaging - dunno which it is.

Maybe it’s in the hope that a side-career as a British astronaut might get him an invitation to appear on Question Time? Can’t see it working tbh.

I don’t think any β€˜excuses’ are being made and if the finance minister of a hideously complex economy has to spend time following up the stuff a letting agency ought to be doing, the UK will be screwed.
Again, too much content, so little substance.

Theresa May as a heavyweight politician can only exist in the stuttering imaginations of the gotcha gang of journalists. Too much content, too little substance.

Starting to think that not constitutional design, nor affective polarisation, nor declining institutional trust, but bothsidesism will be what finally does for democracy.

We have had what amounted to hung parliaments twice in recent memory, 2010 & 2017. The first unleashed austerity and ruined the public sector; the second gave us a botched withdrawal from EU and the UK held to ransom by Ulster unionists, liars and a bent media.

I recall it was almost T May’s mantra as she sought to make Brexit sound like a well-worked plan, or pretend Nick Timothy was some sort of strategist.

Chamberlain was playing for time because he knew there was no other option. Schumer is playing for his career, because he knows no other way.

It’s hilarious really, a waste of energy imo.

Also, the appearance of β€˜Zack’ as the new messiah, is almost as risible as all the other political saviours (Jeremy, Boris etc) and puts me in mind of 70s teenagers adoring a pop idol’s poster given away free with this week’s Jackie magazine.

I may be wrong, but a β€˜broken promise’ can’t by definition be among things β€˜that aren’t in the manifesto’.

The 2015 GE did it for me re the BBC generally. The slant to the sitting coalition government was quite obvious. Among other things it was the point at which I began to see through Mock the Week with its crude ant-Labour bias.

We don’t know each other and have never met so neither of us can claim any knowledge of each other’s lives. Good luck to you and don’t confuse social media and the millenarian doom-mongering of MSM with reality.
