I agree that our use of language encodes a lot of this, but one thing that has become clearer and clearer to me as I get older is that much of being human can only clumsily be put into language, so in many cases the model is a facsimile of a facsimile and I'm wary to put too much import on it

At the same time, language and culture are fluid, so there is no "(divine) higher truth" encoded in the models, though I do think comparing models 'across time and cultures' could reveal some interesting things about language and human nature if we ever have the corpus to do so
