Today instead of copy and pasting a bunch of stuff over an over again I wrote a little script to automate it. Been trying to write more one off scripts and files to do tiny dumb work things because I’m losing my mind at the moment and I need something interesting.

It reminds me of the dark years when a company I worked for outsourced overseas overflow projects and the quality of code was just awful. I would spend hours telling some guy all the issues and then got none of them fixed and have to work on it myself after 20 rounds of emails back and forth.

The thing I don’t like about ai chat bots is they trying to make all work into emails chain. If you’re talking to a bot to do your programming all day then you’re basically giving up the fun part to do emails.
