The local community garden that I run will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday afternoon (see attached poster).

We have collected literally hundreds of pumpkins from across the neighborhood and will be selling chances to smash them.

I am making an implement to facilitate this.

Been hankering to make pasta carbonara. Last night I ran into a chef from an Italian joint where I used to work. Asked for recipe advice, but I kept referring to it as "bacon & eggs spaghetti"

He acted like he didn't notice, but his right eye was visibly twitching by the end of the conversation.

Yeah, but that was just a tiny slice of us. Most of Gen X was just as normie as their parents. Most of Gen X voted for Trump! And they weren't doing it ironically!

Us freaks and slackers got to put our stamp on our "generation" but most of them weren't anything like us.

Personally, I don't think there actually is a Gen X. I think there's late Boomers, and early Millennials. And I say that as a Gen Xer.
