Massachusetts here. We concur!

No matter how much Trump's narcissism, power projection and sense of messianic mission define his persona, and cause politicians and the "media" to cower, at heart Trump is simply a whiny tantrum-throwing infant in a man's body. He will never escape this underlying weakness of character. Never.

Massachusetts will once again have to respond to the call after the MAGA tyrants get their hands on the levers of power in the federal government in but a few short hours.

Remember, when the delegates to the Continental Congress were debating and drinking port in Philadelphia in their colonial fineries, the good people of Massachusetts were actually fighting the British in Boston and environs.

It is oddly calm out there this morning. I will remember this moment as I gaze right now at the Massachusetts State House, at the seat of government where America essentially began.

But we've thrown in the Florida towel and are moving back to Boston in a couple weeks selling our Naples home. Florida is just doomed. Good luck!

Me too! I just deleted me whatever Musk calls Twitter account now and my wife an I put our Naples, Florida home on the market and we are moving back home to Boston. I'm glad this space exists. And I am a daily reader of Letters. My head, however, refuses to stop spinning.
