My students participate in this every year. I love watching them get excited to learn more about our country and the freedoms on which we are founded. This is disappointing and infuriating. Despite their efforts to stop students from learning our country's true history, I will continue to teach it.

Numbers have to be taken with an open mind. Chances are the voucher schools are not providing basic services like special education to appropriate standards. Also, some students will never pass a standardized assessment because testing is a hard skill that has no application to real life.
