Wis in a pub in Edinburgh last night and asked the boy behind the bar if he sold fags and he said ‘oh no, nowhere does that now’
I telt him ‘they do where I’m from’ and he wis like ‘aye not in Edinburgh you’ll no get that.’

Reminder that you can walk up to any British railway ticket office and buy a ticket to most major Irish rail termini.
Just don’t do this when you’re drunk for a laugh at a suburban rail station - they will not find you asking for a single to Tralee a good use of their time.
My family have been wondering why I’ve been in bed so much - come into the room at midday today and say ‘it’s Baltic, is that your heating no on?’ - Turns out radiator has needed bled for a good while, albeit partly my fault I’ve not checked.
