She just left on her walk. I’m going to have to put her to bed early and get her up hours before her morning walk, which I never do, but i think she’s 3 now she probably won’t pee in the house. 🤭 It will be too long for her to be in her crate until her morning walk.

But then I wouldn’t sleep and I so need sleep!!!

I’m so sleepy I’m fighting to stay awake for Lucia’s last walk. I only got 4 hours sleep last night cause I had a meeting that started at 5 am this morning and I have another one at 5 am tomorrow and it’s killing me to stay awake. ☹️

What a great birthday! I had one Gabrielle walk (she’s been my morning walker since I was a baby; we’ve had 616 walks together!), two Zachary walks (I’m in love with him 🤭) sausage, pound cake, extra beef jerky treats and a ton of kisses and hugs. Plus Mamma sang to me twice! I’m 3! #ContessaLucia

I’m doing my best. That’s what I always say to her when she objects to boots. I will always keep you safe and warm and dry.

It finally stopped snowing, and they did a better job of clearing the sidewalks! I got a nice walk and played in the snow with my Zachary! #ContessaLucia

Still snowing! And the snow is so wet it soaked right through my booties! Mamma was I have to wear wellies this afternoon but they are not as warm. ☹️ #ContessaLucia

I mean she probably would eventually but everyone needs physical movement.

She got dried off with warm towels, ate all of her beef jerky treats and she’s curled up on my toes in front of the fireplace. But holy crap we’ve already gotten 7.7 inches and it’s supposed to snow for the next 3 days? It will be taller than her!

I didn’t mind the snow so much when I was with my sweet Zachary but how did the snow get inside my snowsuit? #ContessaLucia

No but she got wrapped up in heated towels and had a blowout. One more walk in the snow later this evening.

I think so. She walks about 3 miles a day and that has to be good for her.

I’ve learned that a lot of people with dogs Lucia’s size just train them to use pee pads and don’t train them to go outside but once I trained her to go outside, she wouldn’t go in the house. 🤣
