Honestly. Rednote feels a lot like beginning pandemic tiktok.

My favorite thing is when someone uses where someone went to school as a sign for their authority or trust and it's either a school on the same level as my alma mater or my actual alma mater. Then they tell me to stop being so elitist.

Everyone in my life is starting to see what i was warning them about for years and was always dismissed. Company towns, subscriptions on things we "own", meta's monopoly, Musk, privacy. It's both nice but also infuriating...it didn't need to get this bad
