I think you do see more positive coverage of AI there than in other places, but that's maybe to be expected of a tech outlet. They've also reported on the economic bubble, the various societal effects, the people pushing AI.

I don't feel like they're doing AI evangelism. I've read a good amount of their recent articles about AI, and I think they're doing a pretty good job of reporting on AI without favor or prejudice.

One funny thing about having adopted the moniker "Cosmological" is that sometimes I will be tagged in posts about cosmology, a subject I am not knowledgeable about.
