Cant The next president just release it as an β€œofficial act”?

The point is that democrats aren’t fascists though. It doesn’t matter if they could be better or don’t want to change the system. What they don’t want to do is turn us into a white nationalist autocracy.

Remind me about how Biden actively worked to delete references to slavery from all national parks, and how he massively increased ICE funding and consistently had ICE violate court orders and attempted to deport people to 3rd world autocracies and got rid of the EPA endangerment finding and…

From my experience the embedding models generated for LLMs have massively improved search quality, making corporate internal search suck a lot less. Mainly because it can do relevance to a query better than the standard untuned garbage

It’s incredibly unsexy and probably not relevant to you though.

Not sure what this person means exactly but I tend to think of the polling obsession of Democrats.

It is in terms of real dollars, and the fact that overall the bottom quintile moved up accounts for median salary rising with age, since those folks would move up a quintile. If the composition of the workforce changed, then clearly it was for the better if the bottom quintile is making more.

15.02.2026 21:43 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is true, but the bottom quintile also saw the biggest wage gains under Biden, so it’s not clear if they’re worse off on the food situation.

15.02.2026 17:42 β€” πŸ‘ 17    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

The β€œcooking and dining out” being major passions would seem to entirely contradict your whole point here. You aren’t typical, and the argument here is about typical Americans.

15.02.2026 17:37 β€” πŸ‘ 20    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I’m not sure it’s so much even an excuse as a way to just make it physically impossible. An excuse is meant to convince someone but they’re not aiming to convince a judge. They’re just hoping the orders Can’t be enforced due to lake of bureaucratic capacity on the part of judges.

”This is not who we are” is basic, incredibly common rhetoric appealing to people’s identity of themselves as good people. People who don’t understand that are being willfully obtuse so they can score internet points for being contrarian.

22.01.2026 14:42 β€” πŸ‘ 11    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Which is more likely, that this will actually be enforced or that this is some made up unenforceable mumbo jumbo?

What does β€œtwiceβ€œ mean? What if I am a vegetable stand already? How many grocers even track that? What does β€œwhole” mean?

11.01.2026 20:19 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I’m not sure I agree with that critique but it’s also a critique you could make of a lot of left wing accounts. Usually you see this kind of complaint from more centrist folks.

What’s bizarre is this complaint coming from a left wing angle where he is secretly β€œanti-anti-Trump”.

30.12.2025 19:05 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

My rebuttal was that β€œanti-anti-Trump” is a phrase that describes someone who claims to not support Trump, but also criticizes people who criticize him too much. That is what the phrase means and very obviously does not describe Will. I was only trying to highlight the absurdity of your use of it.

30.12.2025 18:54 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

So I know your entire thing is to just claim the other party is stupid, that way you can ”win” the argument without actually putting in any real mental effort or thought, but you might consider this is why I tend to trust Will’s thoughts and opinions more than yours.

30.12.2025 18:27 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

I mean instead of being condescending maybe actually explain the point?

30.12.2025 18:25 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

So I get that your thing is condescension without explaining but can you explain to me how you’re not just using the phrase to mean close to the opposite of what it actually means?

30.12.2025 18:24 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

is there an argument here?

30.12.2025 18:23 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

That reason seems to be that Will Is complaining about Pelosi not being aggressive enough? And so you make up a nonsensical allegation of being anti-anti-Trump?

30.12.2025 18:20 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

”anti-anti-Trump” has a meaning. You are doing Orwellian torture to it. I don’t see how the complaint doesn’t apply?

30.12.2025 18:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Basically you know that being β€œanti-anti-Trumpβ€œ is bad so you’re trying to tar Will with it for some reason? But what you’re saying doesn’t make any rational sense if you know what words mean.

30.12.2025 18:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

The phrase exists to describe a specific behavior. What y’all are doing is changing its meaning to… anyone who gives bad strategic advice to Democrats?

This makes the phrase as a descriptor utterly pointless, and as far as I can tell y’all are only trying to use it to score internet points.

30.12.2025 18:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It’s not an attempt at a gotcha. I’m trying to be clear about how the logic reaches an absurd conclusion. β€œAnti-anti-Trump” is a phrase coined to describe people that pretend to not like Trump but condemn people who are angry at Trump as being too mean.

30.12.2025 18:10 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

By this logic pretty much everyone on Bluesky is anti-anti-Trump. Accusations of dems doing nothing and being weak are everywhere here, and half of them make no sense.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer my words to actually have meanings.

30.12.2025 17:53 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

So maybe Will is wrong here, but saying he is anti-anti-Trump because the aggressive action he thinks should have been taken is infeasible doesn’t is bizarre.

30.12.2025 13:27 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

He is criticizing her for not being more aggressive. Say what you will but that’s the opposite of anti-anti-Trump

29.12.2025 16:12 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

You can have some more Radical policies without being a toxic psycho, and Cuomo was clearly more of the authoritarian stripe than Mamdani, for all his being β€œcentrist”, and I say this as someone who very much liked Bloomberg.

29.12.2025 13:07 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

So I know the strain of tankie academic leftist you mean, and I don’t think Mamdani is of that type at all. Like I don’t love his rent freeze and free bus ideas, but he’s clearly engaging with and listening to people. He kept Jessica Tisch on as police commissioner.

I’ll honestly take it if it makes the Right wing justices even a tiny bit more moderate.

I… don’t know what you mean by that?
