As a creative, I hate AI art. As a person with ADHD, I absolutely love ChatGPT. It helps me break down tasks, gather my thoughts, and gives me a way to plan things out.

Went to art school so i could find myself, a voice and master the creative process.

now I tweak the color of clothing so the flat matches the on model shot.

If only someone had told me that color corrections contained this much math…

Looking back, they were all solid ideas to help both our customers and the bottom line.

CDs and ADs don’t have all the answers. It takes a village to grow and stay afloat. Great ideas come from everywhere. Stay humble, keep thinking.

Later, I pitched a new shopping experience for the app.

….Crickets.

After that, I was jokingly referred to as “the ideas guy.”

It stung. I was reduced to a joke by the creative leaders and my peers.

Story time!

I used to be a Lead Retoucher at a big e-com company. Before the pandemic, sales were down. So a VP called a Creative leadership meeting to see what ideas could save us.

I pitched 5 ideas. Rattled them off at blazing speed. Ready to impress my peers and stand proud as a leader.
