100% this - modding it etc can be a pain, locating folders to stick in updates etc but there is always a video showing how it's done.

I would deffo advise if you can, to get an OLED model because the LCD is kinda already out of date hence it's price point.

If you do end up getting a steam deck updating FM24 can be a pain in the neck as Linux doesn't operate as simply as windows does.

I would honestly miss the trackpads if I had anything other than the Steam Deck OLED. You can sideload windows and Heroic launcher allows you to have other game stores.
