Autistic people don’t need to be cured. We need to be smoked

Screenshot of tweet by fareed. UK "centre left". Oh lor. Oh heck. Golly. Foreigners out, I suppose. Oh, bless my soul, oh heavens, we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children, if you'll forgive the turn of phrase.

Can also be adapted for elsewhere.

Two panels of a comic. On the left two children read from a book while they huddle under a blanket.
From them grow vines and spill onto the next page. At the bottom a family plants seeds which grow into a person holding a big pot, a parent lifting their baby up, and two figures hugging. Above them are three black block figures throwing and lighting cocktails. At the top a women holds a spherical splodey with two black flags.

Text rises from above the children and reads.

Perhaps we have no future. That may be true.

On a long enough timeframe, we'll all be dead and the earth will be eaten by the sun - that much seems certain. Climate change may kill us off along with all the other species that are being destroyed. Yet that doesn't make it any less beautiful to take action in the present. It doesn't make anything less meaningful to.

The present is real, no matter what may happen in the future.

If we don't act in pursuit of the things that we consider meaningful in the present, that compounds the tragedy that is underway, it makes it a travesty. If we don't defend what we love, that suggests that we are not loosing anything anyway. If we impose that tragedy on ourselves renouncing our ability to dream, it is as if we deserve it.

But, if we act in a way that shows that the world could be different, that will give the tragedy that we're experiencing weight. Then there will have been something beautiful in the world when it comes to an end, if only our desire for something else. The fact of its having been will hang, something that cannot be erased from history. Even if our dreams cannot come true, we can honor them thus.

I'm an anticapitalist, an anarchist and from the UK. All of this is obvious from what I've said and my profile. Why would I ever be a Trump supporter? The irony of calling Trump supporters stupid when you can't even see that. Thanks for proving yet another layer of projection

I'm good. But if you wanna actually give a counter to what I'm saying, I'm all ears

Such projection. Cue all the libs blaming society's problems on Trump and pretending most things would be fine with the Dems in power and capitalism is all good and isn't the true root cause of the vast majority of the issues. Hope you all enjoy your "moral and intellectual high ground", though

"Any act that makes a good difference, no matter how big, shouldn't be praised unless it's by someone with my exact views." So tired of this thinking from anarchists, and leftists in general to be fair. Let's just alienate the vast majority of people from our already fringe views even further, sure

So let's see if I actually bother to use this one, unlike Twitter
