We did it! We got enough signatures to force a vote on extending ACA subsidies. Imagine how furious Mike Johnson is going to be when we pass this!

Our ACA premiums are going up 739%. It’s $125 a month for two of us now, but will jump to $1,049 starting in January for one person. It’s a high-deductible bronze plan with a strict PPO. The increase would be 1,580% (premium of $2,100) in January, but one of us is going on Medicare Dec. 1. SMH!

The $125 covers two of us. The $1049 will cover only one of us. We recently retired. I go on Medicare later this year. Husband stays on ACA until he turns 65 next year. Unbelievable!

Medicaid cuts mean a worse health care system for EVERYONE.
