Kamen Rider No.1 and No.2

Predictably my #KamenRider fixation has resulted in a purchase! I got 2 #Blokees Shin Kamen Rider & Cyclone sets from AliExpress and customised one into Kamen Rider No 2 as a very quick weekend job! I see why Blokees are so popular- they really do remind me of lego, and are a nice break from Gunpla!

At the end of Nov i posted about how much I liked the 'Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider' anime. Since then, I have:
1. Watched the whole Fuuto PI anime
2. Watched Shin Kamen Rider
3. Watched Kamen Rider Black Sun
4. Started watching Kamen Rider Zeztz
5. Started the 1970s Manga

I really haven't had time for games much this year! But am shocked that Fallout is 2nd considering I only played it for literally that 3 hrs after finishing the Fallout TV series and that Gundam Battle Operation 2 is 3rd considering i haven't actually played online at all!

I haven't really got any skin in this game since I haven't regularly watched Power Rangers since Zeo (or maybe Turbo? Showing my age!) but I always appreciated that the show continued in new guises for each generation. So i kind of hope they do that rather than try and remake Mighty Morphin again...

Update: Whilst on a transatlantic flight 2 weeks ago i watched the Fuuto PI movie, and now i am 4 eps into watching the Fuuto PI series whilst waiting for the next Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider...

Next year it will be 10 years since I started my previous job (which really was the most toxic place on earth), and 7 years since this one, which started normal but has rapidly gone downhill since the pandemic.

It would really be nice to have a *good* experience and actually have progression...

Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider has quickly become one of my favourite anime of the year! It's got that ridiculous over the top energy which is always fun to watch 😁 (i might even have to check out Kamen Rider proper!)

They felt like a stepping stone- they were miles ahead of the NG 1/144s released for the TV series but weren't quite as good as the 08th MS Team HGs which were arguably closer to the early HGUCs. The G Units were of similar quality to the Endless Waltz too- definitely would make a good project!

I think if they really want to keep doing Amuro & Char, I think an adaption of Tomino's 0079 novels with the approach that Gquuuuuux took could work- same characters and war, different story with new VAs and character & MS designs that can appeal to new audiences without all the baggage... #Gundam

Setsuna is one of if not my favourite main character in all of Gundam because of this- it perfectly highlights his growth- he has a fantastic character arc!
