On July 18, the Acquisition Logistics Company received a contract worth a reported $1.26 billion for the construction and operation of an immigrant detention center in El Paso County, Texas.

Acquisition Logistics Company doesn’t even have an office: its listed headquarters is a residential house.

If you ever wondered what it would be like to watch a mostly-functional country just shoot itself in the dick repeatedly, well I have good news for you.
