Follow-up to this, I ran into an app you can grab from GitHub that lets you find and download roms. You can tell it exactly where to save roms for each system and it will unzip and drop them where you want. Super useful github.com/4Sitam4/Romi...

I ran into those too with a previous device, so I loaded everything using a windows machine. I was also going to see if loading things into Google Drive and then downloading them to the Thor directly would work. Got mine yesterday, but only just started setting it up.

I played through the translation about a year ago and I’ve completely forgotten all of it. Going to play it again whenever my Thor gets here, but I got my shipping notification today!

I went with a Dragon Quest skin to cut down on the reflections on the lower screen. Retro Game Corps has been my go to resource for resources/guides. Joey’s Retro Handhelds has also been pretty good with his Thor guide.

I ordered a Base last month before the round 2 cutoff, but I’m assuming it won’t be here until March. Been spending time collecting everything worth putting on there with a huge eye at DS/3DS. Grabbed a grip from Etsy and a stylus in anticipation already.

It’s worth watching and easy enough to get through with 8 30 minute episodes. It’s not very super hero-y which is a nice change.

I made the mistake of clicking on the first result on Youtube to watch it in a higher resolution and didn't realize I had clicked into an AI slop version. I kept thinking, why does this look so bad and like AI? Glad that the for real version looks so much better.

My daughter and I have read through The Wild Robot and the first few How to Train Your Dragons. Wild Robot is pretty close to the movie, but How to Train Your Dragon is wildly different. Essentially the character names and personalities are consistent between the two.

I liked the Luigi chicken sandwich. My wife liked the mushroom soup well enough, but you also get to take the mushroom bowl home. Not too terrible a deal for $20

Yuuuup, that was a big reason that I got in on Switch 2 at launch. I don’t see how they don’t also raise the price soon.

I decided to go with Satisfye since I really liked theirs for the original Switch. I can only assume it will be just as comfortable.

I just figured those out, but I have no idea what the red, green, and blue potions are below the chroma/heal party to full potions are. Did I miss an explanation on those?

I found out about this about a year ago and sought it out. It tasted vaguely of maple syrup and burned so much. It was predictably awful.

“Want some rye? Course ya’ do!” and “Go away, I haven’t got anything for ya. I’ve got one milked cow and she only! Eats! Carrots!” forever live in my brain.

I have to wonder if they’ll have an option to turn it off since I have to imagine it will push some folks away or maybe even make them motion sick

It was such a blast when we went. We spent quite a bit of time hunting down the unique snacks that were all really good. Only thing we missed out on that was sad about was Winnie the Pooh was down for refurbishment
