The funniest thing about the lunatics in charge is that they turned me into the biggest supporter of state’s rights back in 2016/17. At least in the U.S. system there’s a lot that an individual state can still do to say “thanks for your insane ideas, but we still believe in science and decency”

But James, according to Texas we’re going to replace schools with AI zones where kids receive minimal instruction from unqualified non-teachers and spend the day talking to chatbots. I say let them do that if they must. Meanwhile, here in Massachusetts we’ll try to continue to believe in education

People “evacuating” a plane sliding down a slide with their luggage in hand is peak modern day selfish idiocy. Obviously you don’t do that in any kind of actually sane universe. How far our society has sunk

Just listening to him was sickening. For two reasons:

1. I had sworn not to listen to him speak. So a shower was needed after
2. You can tell he doesn’t know any of words or names he’s saying. He sounds them out, then adds his usual superfluous riffs that debase his office

There’s a 100% chance that the orange Cheeto has no idea what “nuclear enrichment” means. He probably thinks of “enrichment” in terms of his grifting

When you have a President who doesn’t respect the rule of law, and who encourages his supporters toward violence, it’s sadly not surprising to see tragic outcomes like in Minnesota today. He and his sycophants will of course do nothing to help the situation

1. Get off the chair in your mom’s basement
2. Take a shower and put on some clean clothes
3. Look at yourself in the mirror

I’m old enough to remember when we used to prioritize going after criminals, not rounding up undocumented folks while wearing military gear. It’s just shameful and wrong. There is no defense of the actions being taken. And these wannabe commandos are going to end up hurting someone at this rate 😞

Why do these agents need masks and flak jackets to raid a nail salon? Are they afraid someone will threaten them with a pedicure?

The right thing being not to harm your fellow citizens, just in case you need a lesson in basic civics and the law
