Slight correction: Energy storage, not just batteries. Pumped hydro is currently the most commonly used (by MW of storage) form of energy storage in the US and globally. Batteries are on track to replace it, but it's still there and very common.

Talk to them. It's not just the politicians. There are still millions and millions who think this is better.

A nation is not a static entity, it is what its people say it is. In November 2024 150 million Americans stated they either wanted this or could care less. The America we fought for is not the one 150 million Americans want now.
