Teens are left in the dark when it comes to getting support or news online.

Adults have to stay in the soft play area unless they scatter their ID or biometrics across the Internet.

When I was a kid in the 90's even I was told bout the dangers of being online, That as when dial-up was king of the modems.

The installation of HamTV is on the ISS work schedule for next week. Successful completion could mean test transmissions going out beginning on Tuesday.

Two Turkish scammers tried a Group SMS scam on me today, didn't bode well for them!

Never send a scam message to a techie, especially one who knows Kali, telecommunications and Tor!

"Why make the old school BBS/IRC etc, wouldn't it be better making newer social media?"

"Without a working version of the older systems, how can people make newer ones?"

Plus the old stuff was and still can be way cooler than the new.

Now that's a sweet bit of circuit. I was looking at one of those maker-pi Pico base.

As I was going to use it as a starter for a Pico/esp32 based add-on for a cyberdeck.

True. Pretty much the same as the hat connector. Just adafruit style.

I do enjoy the Grover connectors too.

I do love the adafruit stuff. Quite versatile. Same with waveshare products.

I even use some of my pi's for IRC/BBS servers, PBX system, I even like using some esp32 boards and raspberries for model railway projects, weather tracking & other projects over the past few years.

I do have other equipment that is not shown in those pics. Including being licensed 6+ years, into ATV/mesh/lora/APRS/packet radio and other things.

Plus it doesn't matter if someone's equipment looks basic, as long as they know how to use it to their full advantage.

My pi cluster when it was being built.

I now use the lower one as a Vpn/webserver to allow me to access my network and NAS-D while I'm outside of home, (I do have a static IP provided by my isp).

The top pi is used primarily for my BBS/IRC servers which are currently down for maintenance.
