Today is Holocaust Memorial Day - this is a day is to come together and reflect.

It's a reminder of our shared endeavour to learn the lessons of the past and ensure we don't repeat them.

Wirral Foodbank is doing vital work for our community.

I met the team recently and saw first-hand how they’re supporting some of the most vulnerable families.

The message from them was clear: lifting the two-child benefit cap will make a real difference to the lives of families across the Wirral.

I heard three things when I was out chatting to people in Meols:

1️⃣ Improvements to the NHS

2️⃣ Roadworks

3️⃣ The carbon capture project

Lots of important conversations - thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to me.

Another month, another coffee morning!

This time I was in Irby speaking to people about a range of different issues that matter to them. I always value these conversations - thanks to all that came.

Great to meet students from Liverpool John Moores University!

It’s always exciting to welcome students from my old university to Parliament – it was great to hear about their studies and answer their questions about life as an MP.

🆕 Half a million more children will get access to Labour's free breakfast clubs next year – boosting parents' work choices and children's life chances.

I've written to eligible schools across Wirral West to encourage them to join the scheme.

Balanced out my Barbetta's salad with some chips! Highly recommend it.

Tomorrow’s Women Wirral do important work to support women facing domestic abuse.

I was proud to nominate them to receive more than £6,000 of Omaze funding recently. It was great to see how that money is supporting women on the Wirral.

It was a privilege to lay a poppy stake on behalf of Wirral West in the House of Commons remembrance garden.

We will remember them.

The pink lights look great! I saw the hard work that goes into getting these lights up - great job, all.

Your hard work and dedication makes our town look lovely every year.

Was out in Heswall just before it started to rain 🌧

Climate Change, NHS improvements and some local issues came up. Was great to speak to someone I had managed to help directly.

This Labour Government is committed to preventing homelessness across the North West, by providing immediate support for children and families in temporary accommodation.

I had a special visit to Elderholme Care Home where I met with staff and residents.

The work the staff do is amazing. The support they provide for people during difficult times is inspiring.

Really pleased to bring my street stall to Tesco in Heswall, talking to people about a range of issues.

Thank you to Tesco for having me, and thanks to everyone who stopped to have a chat.

I recently met with Merseyside’s Chief Fire Officer to visit their world class training facility. I was delighted to find out that here on Merseyside we have the best rescue service in the world!

Thank you to everyone at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service for the work you do keeping us safe.

Great to hear that Clatterbridge is one of the Community Diagnostic Centres which will be opening on evenings and weekends.

This will mean people get appointments more quickly – helping to secure a faster diagnosis and getting them the treatment they need.
