Could we ever do this in Tennessee? The turn out for No Kings was awesome in Johnson City and the response of passing cars for the most part was positive.

I called my representative (spoke to the poor soul who has to hear all the complaints) and was told they were all working hard in the House. I told him the House was not in session, no meetings, no negotiations, no votes- get back to work and do your damn job.

I've given my new Senator a lot of shit on here. But I don't think anyone with power has laid out the stakes of what we're facing as clearly as she does right here.

I disagree. Congressional REPUBLICANS no doubt had, as part of their plan, suspending SNAP benefits to force Democrats to do what they want. They planned this.
