I am not really a stickler on this since it's among friends and all, but on principle it's shady to claim the contribution of 1 counts as 2 when others are making the same contribution for 1.

Most of that is common sense I think, but I think splitting gift contributions is where people become divided. The point of splitting the gift is to reduce the cost based on shared income streams. If you are in a couple and both have income they both need to contribute to add their name to the gift.

While I am complaining. Couples don't count as 1 on a split bill in a group unless the cost is towards something shared by the couple. Dinner bill, they both eat separately, they both pay into it. Rent, if they share the room they can share the cost.

My friends keep suggesting we give the new one a shot because Lethal Company was actually a challenge where you could prepare and engage with the levels. All the rest are just random and feel like they are built to ragebait streamers who have to keep a positive attitude. They just feel bad to play.

A list of terrible design choices present in 3+/4 examples:
-Noise distortion to create graphical fuzz
-Slow delayed movement that feels like you are underwater
-Moving an object requires you to move your screen and wait for the object to follow which is dependent on weight

All of those "meet quota" games like lethal company, repo, content warning, yapyap, etc, must be run by some cartel. I swear they all borrow the worst aspects of each other and include one new gimmick to convince my friend group that "maybe this one will be good." (It never is.)

If I can tank my living standards for about a year I could save a LOT of money...
