Something very British about our wannabe fascist dictator being the guy who messed up running Southampton football club.

Reform pledging that PIP claims would be subject to a clinical process not a bureaucratic one is a) IMV a good policy and b) would not have the effect Robert Jenrick thinks it would in my view.

These two women are suing Andrew Tate, alleging he raped them. Here they visit the social media companies that created Tate. Please share.

You've appointed Tories to your top team. Why should people believe your party is any different?

Farage: "These were two people who were ministers, but frankly weren't ministers for very long".

Suella Braverman was a minister for over 4 years.

Robert Jenrick was a minister for almost 5 years.

As much as I bemoan our political media, I really do hate when politicians act like mild press scrutiny is a personal affront

and I mean obviously
3) children still want to play and they will end up in the non-play-area bit that is still full of broken glass

16.02.2026 15:28 β€” πŸ‘ 155    πŸ” 23    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

and you won't be able to see that that's what's happening.

the park should not be full of broken glass.
you can't just ban children from the play area and call the problem solved.
1) they now have no play area
2) everyone else is still getting cut to ribbons

yes. the things that would make social media safer for children are almost all just the things that would make social media non-harmful/much less harmful for *all of us*.

if you do it by age verification then nothing will stop a child in a difficult home accessing stuff via parents' accounts

1/12 Elon Musk is responsible for more deaths in one year than ISIS and Al-Qaeda caused in thirty.

In 2025 his "Department of Government Efficiency" dismantled USAID.

He tweeted that he fed it "into the wood chipper."

The result was a massacre 🧡

12/12 History will not remember Elon Musk for his rockets or cars.

It will remember him as the man who fed the world’s most vulnerable people "into the wood chipper" just to clap for himself.

He is one of the deadliest men of the 21st century

Trump is a total moron. The only scam is the one he’s pulling.

It doesn’t really matter *why* Trump’s desire to destabilise & divide Europe precisely mirrors Vladimir Putin’s - whether kompromat, self-interest, naked bigotry or something else l. What matters is that Europe treats both regimes like the enemies of progress & democracy they so clearly are.

We talking about misogyny?

Let's start here.

I am not sorry that my failure to hide my instinctive racial prejudices has caused some snowflakes in the UK and Europe to melt but given the air cover given to me by the White House posting pics of the Obamas as monkies, I felt it important to take opportunity.

It wasn't the language but the racism that ran through the sentiment like a stick of rock.

It's quite extraordinary that they thought any of these people would do a better job than Karen Pierce, who did not need to be replaced! It wasn't like there was a vacancy that had to be filled.

Ratcliffe is, quite obviously, factually, morally & intellectually wrong about immigration. But his racist comments will be 'both-sided' everywhere because people who simply don't like seeing non-white faces aren't ashamed to say so anymore.

The utter cheek to rail against immigration and its impact on the British economy when you're a billionaire tax exile, or to lament the level of unemployment when one of the first things you did upon buying a stake in United is to make hundreds of people redundant

Well done to Sky for correcting this bit of ignorance.

As shown extensively in the Epstein files there's plenty of proof that being rich doesn't mean you have any great insights into the world.
