Have you learned nothing of the persistent lack of success of "hardcore socialism"? Pissing off the people you need to persuade gets you nowhere.

Changes of opinion in a positive direction should be encouraged, not derided. Alienating people like this who make good decisions is only going to discourage others from doing the same - be it politicians or the voters who've supported them.
