05.10.2025 15:44 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs true. We are publishing a mini-collection by this talented writer. Normally we publish stories singly, in pairs. If that makes sense. Something made us break that pattern.

What a legend. Adored him and his work, and I always found this exchange particularly inspiring.

I thought about leaving Twitter and not going anywhere else, but as this was my only social media account until I joined Bluesky (not counting MySpace), it ultimately felt too much like cutting myself off from the world.
I particularly loved the Burke series. Will let you know if I find any second-hand copies π!

28.10.2023 09:48 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Microsoft Word once again hilariously trying to sabotage my translations by insisting that "resit the exam" should be "resist the exam" (tbf, the students who are supposed to read the finished product probably wouldnβt mind if I went with 'resist' π ).
27.10.2023 08:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All these apps asking "What do you want to do?" and me, shouting at the screen, "None of your effing business!" Modern software is clearly not being developed with people like me in mindβ¦
19.10.2023 08:39 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's a sticker on a window that read, "Directed by DAVID LYNCH," and now my fucked up funhouse of a ilife doesn't seem QUITE as - no, that's not quite right. It's still a surreal, bizarre, whackadoo carnival of fuckery from hell. But at least if it's taking place in a Lynchian universe, I can assuage my devastating anxiety and terror with the knowledge that all of this is ordinary in Lynchworld. Now all I have to do is keep an eye out for anything that seems NORMAL in the NORMAL sense... because that's the shit that'll really fuck you up.
Stuck this to the window and now the world makes a LITTLE more sense...
