I've never particularly liked reproductions of Beryl Cook paintings, but all together in an exhibition, and in person, they had this glow reflecting a very interesting woman's delight in observing fat, working-class, queer joy, and her growth as an artist over time. I loved it.

Despite the circumstances, I'm having a nice time with my brothers and dad. I haven't spent this much time with both my brothers together in years, and we've been going out each day, which my dad seems to like. We saw a Beryl Cook exhibition today in Plymouth, which was really nice. Lotsa boobs.

I rewatched the Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes film on the plane and can report that a) his accent in it is abysmal, b) they're in love your honour

I'm in my dad's living room! haven't slept really but everything is calm and under control thanks to my brothers, and my dad is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances.

Not as scary as it could have been, because by the time I processed what time it was and how long he would have been missing, they were already calling me back!

It wasn't as bad as it could have been because he has in the past forgotten to get off the bus at his stop, although I had just realized how late it was and was starting to panic when the guy called me back!

I got a call saying "#hw didn't get off the bus, is he coming to afterschool today?" and then, 1min later, "uh, sorry about that, he did get off the bus and is definitely here, I don't know why they told me he didn't get off the bus" so THAT was a shot of adrenaline that I didn't need

IT IS SO EMBARRASSING. Also, you know that's HIM doing the spoken word, right?
