Out of training, and first full day of work.

I've worked with customers before, but never providing support over the phone. I'm exhausted. My head hurts. My eyes hurt. Good lord, I have nothing but admiration for people who are good at/enjoy this. Y'all are rock stars.

my doctor stabbed me twice in the arm so i am not doing any chores today, i've decided. that's really quite fair, i think.

my brain fog is caused by medication and not COVID, so i have hope of recovery from it as soon as my regimen changes, but god, it's awful

Twice, during a rare order of delivery food, I have tried to get crunchy Cheetos. Twice, I have been denied my lovely powder-covered treats.

You'd think in a world like this one you could still get the little things, right?

As glad as I am to have a job again, this whole "getting used to operating on a schedule for eight hours a day like a real grown-up" thing is taking a lot of getting used to. I am SO out of practice at this.

Sadly, I do not. I haven't been able to afford one. :) I will say, though, that if the store is focused on media as one of their major products, you've got a good 95% that the discs will be okay anyway.

She always does this. She thinks I'm a genius, for some reason. All I can say is: keep physical stuff. Use streaming, but don't trust it. And second-hand stores are fantastic for building up a collection. But you may want a disc polisher.

I keep telling you, beloved. If done correctly, they are only "hanged" for an instant, and after that, "hung" is correct.
