If a leftist organization’s deliveries remind me of Q Anon posts from my right wing grandpa… I don’t follow them. I’ll find out my stressful news information in a less stressful manner. Paying attention to how my body and brain feels & adjusting my social feeds accordingly has made a difference.

I also made sure a large part of the accounts I follow are artists. I utilize the “reshare” features so things show up more organically for others and helps boost my algorithms for what I prefer to see. Independent news is in there amongst an overwhelming amount of uplifting things I love.

I’ve had to get close as possible to a 1:1 ratio on reporters / comedians or comics. I stopped watching standard news channels that are sensationalized and keep me depressed. I only follow small news organizations, if I see a headline from a big one, I will seek more info from a smaller one.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

Their money is useless if we embrace community & mutual aid, and stop showing up to work. On a grand scale like our blue collar ancestors, and any other time in history where change had to be taken because it was never given nicely. Abuse doesn’t end by asking. We have the power, folks.
