I definitely feel a strong connection. Among the Prodigy kids Rok-Tahk is my favourite. And then, of course, Kathryn Janeway is my all-time favourite Star Trek Captain (and now Admiral). She's simply wonderful.

One thing I absolutely love about Captain Janeway is that she can discuss science on par with her crew. Kirk and Picard always needed those things explained to them, Janeway simply understood.

The Protostar-class USS Prodigy was launched at the end of season 2. As there's no season 3 we don't know anything else.
Gwyndala made Captain at some point, and then Ambassador (like Spock).
