Right now, the savviest thing a Democratic politician can possibly do is to publicly demonstrate a willingness to violate both norms and decorum.

Yet another interesting development at the Census Bureau. I just received an email begging field representatives to accept work on other household surveys. Apparently they still want financial data from people even though they fired everyone who collects the data.

So at our weekly meeting for my census job, we were told to report households who did not want to answer our questions because of Trump. All of us who collect the Census information refused to do this, because we are pretty sure that would put our families at risk of retaliation.

I already get mail only on Tuesdays and Fridays
