People sneer at the No Kings protests because it's performative. And it is, mostly. It's also organizational. We should remember that these events bring people together and energize them. We are seeing the result in today's election.

I think we've learned by now that they don't care. No one cares. Elect Democrats to block these bastards. That is all.

Nope. The law applies to everyone. There is no political gain in this. It's not like he's springing his best advisor out of jail to help him with a future campaign. This isn't fighting fire with fire. This will be seen as just rubbing our noses in the fact that some people are above the law.

Even if you don't like MSNBC he sums things up well. A person gets something wrong or just lies. People talk about it. A media personality asks someone with some authority about it. It's confirmed as fact. No one did any research so the false statement becomes "true".
