The ships are (from nearest camera to furthest) HMS Broadsword, HMS Brilliant, HMS Birmingham, HMS Southampton (obvious Type 1022 radar) and HMS Falmouth, photo taken April/May 1983. Neither 42 has Sheffield's funnel ears, and all ships have pennant numbers painted out, so definitely not March 1982
