It was a pleasure to speak to the Oxford University Strategic Studies Group at All Souls College last night.

There is a lot happening on the international stage at the moment and seapower has a role to play in statecraft.

Some challenging questions which really made me think.

We are grateful to the Cambridge Centre for Geopolitics and Emmanuel College for hosting us, and to all of the fantastic speakers who gave up their time and shared their knowledge on Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic and more.

This had been a superb week for many of our 1SL and Richmond Fellows. Making our annual visit to @cambridgeuni.bsky.social, we heard from a range of experts and discussed and debated the geopolitics of the past, present and potential futures.
