Last Autumn, I tried my hand at #butterdishes, with three different types of gallery. In terms of function, I prefer the one on the right. I will try this shape again, with some #sgraffito! What's your favorite way of building these?

You can apply damp paper shapes on to a greenware and paint over it with engobe, underglaze, etc. The parts with paper are protected from that coat. You remove the paper when you’re done applying your coats. There are a lot of possibilities with this technique!
