All of your concerns are exactly my understanding of the situation, including that heavy utilization of the GPUs burns them out in a few years anyway which matches up nicely with obsolescence but doesn't support the argument that the bubble builds durable useful infrastructure like Bezos said

DOJ’s attempts to charge these cases in DC and LA have been resoundingly unsuccessful. Grand juries have rejected a huge proportion of the attempts to indict. One case in LA that went to trial as a misdemeanor recently ended in acquittal

They chased the guy maybe a full 75 feet before giving up. That tells you something. None of these guys has the cardio or endurance for a prolonged action.

The deployment of ICE agents in downtown Chicago today reminded me of the flash marches that neo-Nazi groups carry out when they all pile out of vans and march around for a bit to make propaganda videos, then quickly leave. Except these assholes have the force of law and kidnapped people.

This morning at 11am, corner of Hathorn and Broadway in Somerville MA. 3 ICE vehicles idling on nearby corners. I was following two ICE cars that were cruising around the neighborhood.

This person was just walking down the sidewalk when two ICE vehicles stopped and officers jumped out to stop him.

Gregory Bovino, leader of Trump’s LA and Chicago raids, personally testified that he saw a protestor strike a Border Patrol agent. The jury did not believe him and the protestor was acquitted.

This morning in East Somerville, MA masked agents who told bystanders they were from Homeland Security abducted a man who lives in the neighborhood while he was on his way to do laundry.
