To be very clear, that lady in the NYT article is not making any money with her hundreds of AI slop books.

She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.

It's an evolved MLM, and the NYT is helping market it.

It's a lovely and inclusive term. I only use sportspuck because there's no ball in hockey, but I absolutely call other sports sportsball. Enough that both terms show up as predictive text on my phone.

Me: The US taxes worldwide income, so if you'd like to avoid reporting income from a rental I suggest buying property on the Moon, or perhaps renting an orbital satellite. You'd have grounds to argue to the IRS that it's not part of the world.
