Took the afternoon off from Kickstarter. Did a little work on a new painting that is named after a painting by Bruegel, "The Fall of the Rebel Angels"

I don’t quite see why anyone views being emulated as a bad thing. For my purposes (changing the world), the more Rudys the better! And, at least for now, I can out-Rudy the best of them. Especially with a novel like SQINKS, where I really let things fly.

On the new AI. We emulate other people all the time, just by using our built-in wetware. Useful for scamming them ... or for befriending them. Think of Danny Rubin’s *Groundhog Day*. Bill Murray relives and relives a certain day with Andie MacDowell until the match is perfect ... and they make love.
