Interesting way to quantify facilities maintenance man…but legit.

In august of last year, I began a process of de-clouding my “smart” home products. I’m no Luddite, I enjoy being able to turn on the bathroom fan from the bed as much as the next guy, so I wanted things to continue to work in the way we had become accustomed, just with less reliance on the cloud.

My old Withings Sleep mat finally gave up the ghost. It had been getting flaky for a while, and about a month ago, it stopped connecting altogether.

I’ve replaced it with the Garmin Index. I usually steer clear of the Big Garmin Machine, but this one actually seems legit.

We shall see…

I swear, Apple Music for windows sucks SOOO BAD there aren’t words for it.

This morning I’m enjoying a cup of Peet’s Major Dickason’s roast.

Time Doesn’t Make Itself

This is the third time I’ve been at Discount Tire in recent months, and all three times there’s some person here with their entire computer rig setup in the waiting area. Is this some kind of co-use space I wasn’t aware of?

Well, yesterday morning, we had QUITE the storm, which lasted until around 3 p.m. Once it blew past us, it was as if another world came from it.

Beautiful, clear, blue skies, 75 degrees with a slight breeze, and not even the usual post-rain humidity.

While I appreciate the day off, Im among the minority who actually like their job, and their co-workers.

Of course, some republican will read this, and try to get me fired because I said I was happy.
