18.02.2025 21:39 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Notes from the brink: in college, around the year 2000, I decided I would be the sort of person who made all of my own clothes. I didn’t know how but got an old necchi machine and taught myself and now I have a yellow dress with bandana-wearing owls and six pockets on it. Live your dreams.

Fortunately the local public library (yes, mine, lol) lends Roku sticks logged in and ready to go. We borrowed the Disney+ stick. 🙌 #libraries

3. Prometheus
My library started passport services earlier this year and it has been so popular with families! One of many benefits for a community.
24.11.2024 00:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Accurate 👏👏👏 I’m a librarian so I know. I have worked with a lot of folks who’ve had strokes or brain injuries and can’t follow text on a page anymore but love audiobooks and being read to. Many of us learned to read that way. Not to mention the oral tradition of storytelling.

Over generalizing about gender (and not all men and all that so don’t come for me) but have any women in leadership positions added up the amount of time you have wasted by men who are late for every meeting? I’m looking back at just the last two weeks to turn it into dollars 💸
Absolutely loving you as the hype man for all the accounts I wanna follow 🤩
