You should also have your pitch ready. One punchy paragraph. Also, a shorter elevator pitch. And a short bio. That's all for your query letter. Then, be prepared that agents ask to see various excerpts from your manuscript to start. (i.e. first 10 pages, first 3 chapters etc) Good luck!!
