I just finished my latest read, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I kept reading in sci-fi book forums how exceptionally good it was, and they were right. This will be in my Little Library soon.

My parents always gave us (6 kids) an orange in our stocking at Christmas. Where we lived in Alaska citrus was pretty expensive and an absolute treat.

I get that the "A" is supposed to represent the Utah arch, but if I told you it was all Utah Kama Sutra could you unsee it? It's all pokey pokey.

I spent less than an hour building this in Photoshop Elements, and it's admittedly a very "first-draft" version that could be improved on, but I think it's better than the official version. I really can't see the negative space treatment they describe. It's just... way off. Like, bad way off.

The interim SLC Utah 2034 logo could be so much better. Here's my Charlie Brown Sweater Weather alt logo. The Olympic Rings are transformed into hive elements to represent industry, and are repeated as a pattern in the site name. The golden color is a nod to our nickname as the beehive state.
