It's probably a good thing that the Blue Jays didn't win the World Series 💔. Canada avoided another reactionary tariff increase by the US.
(I'm looking for a silver lining here 🫣).

Imagine being someone who speeds a lot, knowing it can and does kill people… kids, parents, anyone.

Imagine hating a public policy (speed cameras) that’s proven to make those people safer— safer from YOU— because your law breaking costs u money, so you rant that it’s a “cash cow.”

I'm a technical writer so I see the need for 8th grade writing for my work.
But in the arts and literature, I say ignore that advice. English is too beautiful and rich a language to be constrained in such a way.
FWIW- I keep a list of new vocabulary for any books I read. Aspire to be exhalted🙂

The US has an extremely high rate of gun related homicides but I can't say that I like where Canada sits in comparison with the other countries on this list either.

He also doesn't deserve all of the post mortem accolades and media coverage either - full stop.

It's odd that in my annual visit to GNP, I've only noticed that there is a lot of cut, ready-to-burn firewood nearly everywhere!
Plus the water level in the rivers of course 🎣.

I wish some people were this outspoken and passionate when a shooter murders a handful of children just trying to exist in school.

They're so messed up down there, to accept images like this, from their manchild 'leader'.
I still hope that I'm in a coma and will someday wake-up to a normal world.

An important value in the art that I like, is knowing that someone imagined it and then had (or developed) the skills to present it. AI is just a beach rock. Art is a soapstone carving.
