gotta say, the new (to me) camera takes decent photos. once i get a wrist strap for it, i'll take it out on walks to get more familiar with its operation. i love that i was able to get a LIGHTLY used Sony Alpha a5100 for peanuts when cameras and lenses have become VERY trendy/expensive.
