Last night I moved her, blankie and all, from my bed to the chair, and she protested being picked up, but was satisfied with the end result.

Have I sometimes been surprised at what someone looked like when seeing them without a mask after ever having seen only the top part of their face? Sure. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t know and recognize what they looked like with a mask on.

Also you can tell what people look like perfectly fine with a medical mask (I’m using medical in the general sense of used for health reasons not just the flimsy doctor ones). It’s not at all like the heavy neck gaiters meant to disguise that ICE are using.
