spent a lot of time with my mom today. she was incredibly cute. she held my hand and wouldn’t let it go, even when she placed both of our hands on her leg. we then shared the recliner because we both have bad knees. I love my mom so much. I wish I had a house so we could all be together.

just started watching oppenheimer and I have to say that I had no idea that this man, at least fictionally, had the same kind of freak outs about the universe/connections etc like I do almost every day of my life

ended up watching thanksgiving, dark harvest, the last voyage of the Demeter (which was apparently based on the log of the Demeter from Dracula!), and rewatched the void. low key day.

the cane that came today is way more comfortable than the one I borrowed from my parents. I’m hoping that I’ll only need the cane for one more week while I’m healing. I can tell I overdid it with the injured knee today.

honestly had spent some part of the week being frustrated that traffic crimes are not something that the city pursues & even investigates (I was a victim of a hit and run earlier in the week) but am also thankful that I was minimally hurt & have been healing quickly after resting up most of the week

I really love our guinea pigs, they mirror each other and talk to each other daily. Every time I see them laying there with their leggies kicked out across from each other, I cry 🥺.
