The ‘problem’ with writing about one person is that I come across so many other interesting people along the way. More and more, however, such stories are being lifted up into light. Long may it continue.

Look. Everything Robert Macfarlane writes is worth reading. Intellectually and on a craft level, he’s an amazing writer. But, even though I loved the concept, I didn’t love this book as much as his others. #amreading
